Grace Covenant Church, a daughter church of Midway Presbyterian Church in Powder Springs, Georgia, started here in Dallas, Georgia on September 1, 2002. We are a congregation of the Presbyterian Church in America, the PCA, formed in 1973. We retain the reformation standards; i.e. Why We Are Here - To Glorify God What We Believe - God's Word is the Truth What We Do - Make Disciples What We Want - To Love God and Love Others
The Bible is the word of God, the only infallible absolute rule of faith and practice.
We are confessional and propound reformed theology and doctrine through the Westminster Confession of Faith.
Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the Church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations for ever and ever! Amen.

Our Pastor, Leaders and Staff
Our Pastor, Dr. Wilson Smith started his college career at University of South Florida. His extracurricular activities included work at the Peace River Cattle Ranch, the REMC, Roger's Meat Market, Wilson's Wholesale, and Fuller Brush. In addition, he found time to explore Scouting, Camping, Chess, Antique Books, stamp-collecting, music, art (specifically 14th C. Dutch paintings!), hunting, fishing, and scuba.
Eventually, God called Dr. Smith to Belhaven college in Jackson, Mississippi where he met his wife, Betty A. Davis. Together they were eventually blessed with Debbie, Daniel, and Jonathon.
Dr. Smith received his Bachelor of Arts degree and then entered the Reformed Theological Seminary and earned his Master of Divinity. Ordination soon followed. Dr. Smith has served as Pastor at various churches and participated in 3 church plantings, including here in Dallas, Georgia.
Dr. Smith has traveled to the foreign mission field and earned his Doctorate of Ministries from RTS.

Women in the Church
Women in the Church, or WIC, is a national organization of our denomination. It provides many opportunities for teaching, fellowship, and mercy ministry. The purpose of WIC is that every woman know Christ personally and be committed to extending His Kingdom in her life, home, church, community, and throughout the world. WIC meetings are generally held on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm. After a business meeting to discuss upcoming events and projects, Lisa Taylor leads a devotional.

Inquirer's Class
If you are a new member, or thinking about joining our church, or perhaps you would just like to brush up on church polity, then please join us. The class is for anyone interested in learning more about the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA), as well as the mission of Grace Covenant Church.

Men of the Covenant
Men of the Covenant, the men's ministry at Grace Covenant, encourages men to grow in their relationship with Christ and to develop authentic relationships with other men. The purpose of this group is to promote Christian growth and encourage one another through fellowship. Here you will find peers who will support and challenge you in your walk with Christ. All men, by virtue of their membership at Grace Covenant, belong to the MOC ministry.
Bible Study Prayer Meeting
We have a Bible Study on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 pm. It is a time of study and fellowship and prayer. During this time, there is also a Children's Bible Study. A nursery can be provided with prior reservations made to richie89@bellsouth.net.
J.O.Y. - Just Older Youth
J.O.Y. is for the over-50 crowd. We meet on the first Thursday of each month. Generally, we'll meet at 12:30 pm at a local restaurant. This is a time to enjoy good food and fellowship, and share in a devotional.
Covered Dish Luncheon
This is a family time. And here at Grace, we're all family! We meet selected 1st Sundays at 12:00 pm, directly after worship. Everybody brings a covered dish to share. The children play, the adults laugh. We'll even sing to you if it's your birthday. There's always plenty of food, so come hungry.
Visitation
As an evangelizing faith community, we want to reach out in a personal way to newcomers, the elderly or homebound, the sick or hospitalized, the bereaved, or anyone with limited ability to fully participate in the church life.

Candy Still is our choir director, and practices are held on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 - 8:15. Nursery and child-care are available during this time.
Our Children's Choir is led by Tracy Murchison, and practices on Sunday afternoons from 5:00 - 5:30pm. Come and make a joyful noise with us.
